Oakmeadians RFC Acorns

Boys and Girls from Under 6's to Under 18's

Playing rugby will help develop your child’s physical, psychological and social attributes, as well as gently encouraging rugby specific skills.

Our Acorns start with Tag rugby as it promotes key skills such as passing, movement and tactical awareness.

RFU regulations do not permit full contact until U9's.

Oakmeadians RFC promotes the RFU's core values...

Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship

Play to win – but not all costs.

Win with dignity – lose with grace.

Observe the Laws and regulations of the game

Respect opponents, referees and all participants

Reject cheating, racism, violence and drugs

Value volunteers and paid officials alike

Enjoy the game

We have a fantastic team of managers, coaching staff and a great network of parent volunteers who have been through the RFU DBS process.

They make sure that everything runs smoothly throughout the season.

We would like to thank our volunteers who help run the squads providing first aid cover, arranging tournaments and parties and helping in the clubhouse and kitchen as required.

Supporting all the players at training and on match days!

Some of our parents also sponsor their teams either personally or through their companies.

The Acorns train on Sunday mornings at Meyrick Park. Please see our home page for training details or email using our Contact Us page above.
